These box car racers' tempers flared after one car drove on to the bonnet of the other before the fight ensued and police had to TASER and arrest the pair
A POLICEMAN had to STUN a racing driver after two racers got into a huge brawl in the middle of a race.
The pair had firm words for each other after an incident during the race.
Then Jeffery Swinford, in the black vehicle, decided to drive and park on TOP of his opponent's car.
Shawn Cullen, in car No33, then hopped out of his car and ran around looking to give his rival a punch up for his paint-job scrape.
The view is obscured by the two mangled cars, but the pair appear to be exchanging punches.
But Swinford is then tasered by an onrushing police officer, before collapsing to the ground and writhing in discomfort.
Video footage showed both drivers getting handcuffed and arrested by police as they were escorted away from Anderson Speedway in Indiana, USA.
The speedway's owner Rick Dawson said: "It's absolutely totally, dangerous. It is a 3500lb race car going after an individual.
"It's no different than a gun or a knife, or a bomb, as far as I'm concerned. It's going to have the same results of things don't go right."
The spat appeared to start as the race got underway on the figure-of-eight speedway, as the safety car got out of the way.
Both cars were jockeying for position in just the first lap, and Cullen appeared to tip Swinford off the track.
Once Swinford managed to get going again - and Cullen had stalled - he caught up with the orange and black vehicle, before pulling off the shocking manoeuvre and then pulled up on to his bonnet.
Swinford's brother Mike defended his actions though.
He said: "You run into us not once, but twice in the same race.
"What are you gonna do back up and quit? It's racing. Is racing a sport where you are gonna back up and let the other go because he is beating your car?"
Racing or not, the pair appear to have broken the law and will learn of their fates in court.
