Wimbledon 2016: Roger Federer breezes past brave Brit Dan Evans in straight sets on Centre Court
Seven-time champion at SW19 wasted little time in dispatching Brit 6-4 6-2 6-2 on Friday night

DAN EVANS won one more game and lasted one more minute before being Rogered like pal Marcus Willis.
But the British No 4 showed in glimpses why this could and should not be his last meeting with Mr Federer.
Slow starts in the first two sets cost Evans any slim chance of victory and, unlike Willis, he played less consistently and well as the match progressed.
Yet he still gave the seven-time champion plenty to think about in his 6-4 6-2 6-2 victory.
Federer raced into a 4-0 lead after breaking in a long opening game.

But Evans hit back by retrieving a break and made the seven-time champion serve it out.
Double faults were a recurring problem for the Brit though and he was 4-0 down in the second set too.
He at least won his first service game in the third, but Federer ruthlessly took advantage of Evans’ mistakes.
