Ex-WWE CEO Linda McMahon met with Trump amid rumours she could be offered role in his premiership

VINCE MCMAHON's wife Linda could be set for a role Donald Trump's administration.
The former WWE CEO, 68, met with the President-elect at Trump Tower in New York amid rumours that she will be given a position in his new premiership.
McMahon twice ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 and 2012 - and praised Trump throughout his successful campaign.

She said: “The meeting went great. It was really nice to be up and I was honoured to be asked to come in.
"Any time I think the president-elect of the United States asks you to come in for a conversation, you’re happy to do that.
“We talked about business and entrepreneurs and creating jobs, and we talked about SBA (Small Business Administration).
“We had a really good conversation.”
The tycoon-turned-President appeared in a WWE bout with Vince McMahon in Wrestlemania 23, in a fight dubbed the 'Battle of the Billionaires'.
Intercontinental Champion Umaga represented McMahon whilst Bobby Lashley fouight for Trump.
The President-elect famously tackled McMahon to the floor before shaving his head in the ring.

Linda refused to confirm or deny reports suggesting she had been offered a role in Trump's staff.
