Legend Ric Flair claims his daughter Charlotte is a better athlete than the cruiserweights
WWE wrestling icon reveals he is not a fan of the new division and discusses WrestleMania 33

RIC FLAIR has claimed that the WWE cruiserweights are not better than his daughter Charlotte.
The Nature Boy, a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion throughout his distinguished career, has even admitted that he is not a huge admirer of the 205lb division.
While he respects the smaller grapplers as athletes, Flair the wrestling legend claims that he would rather watch his daughter fight against Sasha Banks than a bout from the Raw brand’s cruiserweight division.
And speaking on his Ric Flair Show, he says the action-packed clashes they provide are “not what I look for to watch” in a match.
The 67-year-old said: “I just feel like, first of all, I think Ashley [Charlotte] is a better athlete than the cruiserweights. Does that make sense?

“The cruiserweights are great, they're athletic, really nice guys, but they can't have a match better than Sasha [Banks] and Charlotte.”
Banks, who defeated Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Title last week, has been involved in some blockbuster clashes with her rival in 2016.
The duo recently were given the main event spot at the recent Hell In A Cell pay per view and produced an outstanding display.
Flair has recently returned to work for WWE after penning a new deal and appeared on last week’s episode of Raw.
And now back in the business, he discussed the fights he believes World Wrestling Entertainment should be looking to book for WresleMania 33 – the company’s extravaganza due to take place in Orlando, Florida on April 2 2017.
And there is a dream fight that he would love his daughter to be involved in.
Flair said: “I would love to see Charlotte vs Ronda Rousey, which I think would be huge. I know she will be in the main event somewhere, and I think they can make that work, but as you and I both know, Ronda has to win, I just know that Charlotte will be in the main event somewhere.”
And another dream match would involve two of wrestling’s all-time biggest names.
Flair added: “I think Undertaker and Cena would be something I would love to see, but I can tell you this right now – if Cena and Taker wrestle, Undertaker would win. John has a whole new life, he doesn't care, he's the most giving guy in the world, as is Mark [Undertaker].
“I think the biggest match people want to see would be Shane McMahon vs. Hunter. That would knock you out your chair for sure. I can tell you right now, if Brock and Goldberg, which I think it is, it's going to be a lot different than what we saw last month.”
