Daily Spread Betting Round-up
After a weekend full of major sporting action, Oleksandr Usyk demolished Daniel Dubois to become Undisputed heavyweight champion once again at Wembley, Scottie Scheffler came out victorious in the Open Championship golf, and Germany secured a semi-final clash with Spain after coming out on top on penalties against France in the women's Euros.
As always in our daily betting blog, we run through some of the biggest spread betting winners from Saturday and Sunday!
Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
We start with the boxing action and another massive night at Wembley Stadium on Saturday saw Britain's Daniel Dubois aim for greatness in his rematch with Ukrainian icon Oleksandr Usyk after his somewhat controversial defeat back in 2023 in Poland. Since that fight, Dubois showed significant signs of improvement with three impressive wins against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and a spectacular knockout of British rival Anthony Joshua at Wembley last September.
However, the 38-year-old Usyk showed no signs of age or decline against 'Dynamite' and looked focused and motivated for a stoppage victory from the opening bell. Undefeated against every British fighter he had faced so far, Usyk quickly demoralised Dubois with a quite brilliant display of ring expertise, methodically breaking down a man 11 years his junior before delivering a spectacular left hand which dropped - and stopped - Dubois. With the victory, Usyk further solidified his legendary standing as one of the very greatest heavyweights ever, and time will tell how much more he can achieve in his storied career before hanging up the gloves.
In terms of spread betting, buying punters managed to score a knockout profit on our Usyk 50-25-10 market. With the market settling at 50 for a knockout win, 25 for a win by any method, or 10 in the case of a draw, the final settlement of 50 from a starting spread of 27.50 - 30.50 meant a 29.5x return on original stake.

In the football betting action, the weekend saw the last quarter-final taking place as France took on Germany, and another dramatic penalty shootout following England's nerve-racking win over Sweden in the same manner last Thursday. This time around, it was the Germans who came out on top despite being a woman down for the majority after the match had ended 1-1 after extra-time, although both goals were scored early in the first half of normal time.
Defender Kathrin Hendrich had a nightmare as she was sent-off with a straight red in just the 13th minute, and with France taking the lead from the penalty spot just two minutes later, things looked bleak for the Germans. However, their heads didn't drop and they quickly hit back through Sjoeke Nusken. The drama didn't stop there though as the French then had not one but two goals ruled out, and Nusken missed a penalty in the 69th minute.
Gallantly defending and anchored by an excellent goalkeeping performance from Ann-Katrin Berger who made eight saves, the Germans held on until the lottery of a penalty shootout and ultimately sealed the win against the wasteful French, securing a semi-final clash with Spain in the process.
For football spread bettor, however, massive profit was available from those who placed a buy bet on the Multi-Bookings market. With a pre-match spread of 130-180, a settlement of 700 on account of two yellows and a red in the first half x two yellows in the second half meant a return of 520x on opening stakes!

Finally, we round off on the golf action from Royal Portrush as USA's Scottie Scheffler secured a big victory as he aims for the Grand Slam. The World No. 1 took a four-shot lead into the final day and swiftly asserted further control by making three birdies in his first five holes, reaching the turn five ahead despite a double-bogey at the par-four eighth.
Scheffler added one more birdie to close out a three-under 68 and end the week on -17. With this impressive victory and following his PGA Championship success in May, Scheffler will now be in with the chance of completing the career Grand Slam next June at the US Open. Aside from Scheffler, it was a clean sweep for Americans in top four as Harris English, Christopher Gotterup and Wyndham Clark followed behind. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy finished T7 with a final score of -10.
For golf punters who decided to buy on our Hotshots (USA) market, some tidy profit was to be made with a settlement of 150 from a starting spread of 42 - 46, meaning a return of 104x stake on buy bets!
