Kindle Paperwhite deal knocks £20 OFF in Amazon device sale

Amazon’s current device discounts mean savings across its smart devices, and a Kindle can be a great gift and new addition for book lovers who always need a read on-hand.
Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite is the middle spec of Amazon’s three e-readers, and it’s back at its lowest price of the year.
Previously marked at £119.99, you can get it for just under £100 right now at £99.99, saving £20 in one of Amazon’s time-limited device deals.
It is a decent discount for an excellent device, and it’s a price we’ve not seen on the kindle Paperwhite since March.

Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite is focused on clear and easy reading for users, with the closest-to-paper reading experience possible in a digital device.
It uses a high-quality 300ppi (pixels per inch) glare-free display, offering what Amazon calls ‘printed quality text’. The lack of glare means you can read more easily outside, and as with all Kindle devices the font size can be changed as needed.
To further support outdoors use, the Kindle Paperwhite is IPX8 rated, meaning it’s waterproof.
That’s great if you want to read at the beach, or by a pool – or even if you enjoy reading in the bath but fear the potential of soggy pages.
Plus, as with all Kindles, the 8GB model can store plenty of book - several hundred to thousands depending on book length. There is a 32GB model currently discounted too, but it’s still £129.99.
Either option means no lugging a bag of books on a trip away or on a day out.
The Paperwhite is WiFi capable, and buying one includes free cloud storage for any content bought through Amazon – useful if you do run out of space. You can even make use of the built-in Bluetooth to listen to audiobooks via Audible.
With such a good mix of features, including a built-in light and a battery which last weeks on a charge, the Paperwhite is a strong option for any book lover looking to go digital.
It packs more features than the standard at a now more tempting price - and is nowhere as pricey .
