Nintendo announces Super Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy remasters for Nintendo Switch

NINTENDO has confirmed that a trilogy of remastered classic Super Mario games will be avaliable on its Switch console this month.

The collection is called Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

It will contain the hugely popular Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy.

Fans won't have to wait too long to start playing either.

All three games should be avaliable for Nintendo Switch from September 18.

Only a limited number of physical copies will be made.

However, the digital version will be avaliable to purchase via the Switch eShop.

You should be able to purchase it until March 2021.

Each game will be remastered for the console meaning higher resolutions and "smoother gameplay performance".

Fans of the old games will be pleased to know there hasn't been any radical redesigns.

Bear in mind you will need separate Joy-Cons for playing Galaxy's Co-Star mode.

In other gaming news, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players can grab two free games this month.

Gamers caught an early glimpse of the next big Call of Duty – thanks to the game's first proper trailer.

And, Fortnite got banned from Apple and Google's app stores.
