Fortnite Winterfest last present and MJ gifts explained
Fortnite Winterfest is almost over but players who have opened all of their presents are mystified by a seemingly unclaimed gift.
Fortnite players have received daily cosmetics and emotes during Winterfest, but after servers went down last week, they reported seeing an unopened gift.
It's possible that this is just a glitch, which Epic addressed on Twitter, , "Already opened all your presents but still see one extra present left to open? Sit tight, we're working on that."
Given the downtime affected cut into Winterfest, Epic could be looking to extend the deadline for the challenges.
The developer may even treat everyone to a bonus gift — it often makes up for snafus like this with free cosmetics.
Epic has players that it will do something to appease them, so be on the lookout for more news on that this week.
A second result of the outage was the appearance if a new pile of presents in Crackshot's cabin in red and blue wrapping, which are all from Spider-Man's MJ.
The collection of Winterfest presents have all been from in-game characters so far.
This has lead to speculation over whether these are just bugs from the servers going down, or whether they hint at something more.
Fortnite leaker quoted Epic's tweet about the last present along with the shifty eyes emoji, suggesting something more is afoot.

On top of that, a couple of days before Winterfest kicked off, fellow Fortnite leaker shared an image of the MJ gifts on December 14.
"For some reason, every present in the Cabin is from MJ," they tweeted.
It's likely that MJ's gifts will be Spider-Man themed, and the unopened gift may be a precursor to players receiving these presents.
