YOU can control your Xbox by just using your voice with this little-known trick.
The trick makes controlling your Xbox easier than ever and can save you valuable gaming time when turning the console on/off or when starting up games.
The trick was shared by computer magazine as part of its “19 slick Xbox One Tips and Tricks.”
To implement the trick, all you need is an Amazon Alexa-enabled smart speaker and it will let you connect it to your console.
You can use the voice control from Alexa to control your Xbox.
Here is a breakdown of how to connect your Alexa to your Xbox, per PC Mag.
First, Go to Settings > Kinect & devices > Digital assistants and check the box for Enable digital assistants.
Second, you just want to install the skill for Alexa.
Third, enter your Microsoft account credentials.
Fourth, pair the console to your Alexa account and start talking.

Some of the standard commands you can use are: "Alexa, tell Xbox to..." or "Alexa, ask Xbox to..."
Along with "Alexa, ask Xbox to..."
You can also tell Alexa to add pause, resume, volume up, volume down, turn off, and launch [game or app name].
If you need more feedback you can say: "Alexa, ask Xbox what I can say.”
Lastly, you can skip the "tell" or "ask" part and speak more naturally to at least pause, resume, turn off, or adjust the volume.
