Xbox fans race to buy ‘smoking hot’ Series X deal that’s even cheaper with a discount code

XBOX fans can swipe a Series X console for nearly £160 cheaper than its original price.

The Series X Console sold by ShopTo is currently just £341.86 when using an discount code - a far stretch away from the £499 it originally hit the shelves as.

The discount code, OFFER5, gives gamers

The Series X boats backwards compatibility, meaning it can play thousands of games from four generations of Xbox, including Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Original Xbox. 

According to cheap-offers site HotUKDeals, gamers couldn't help but 'bite' at the chance to pick up the reduced console.

"I have this and a PS5 and I would go for the Xbox every time," one reviewer .

What's the difference between the PS5 and Series X?

But in short, and aside from the obvious stylistic differences, Xbox seemingly has the edge when it comes to graphics.

The Series X promises 12-teraflops of graphical output, versus the 10.3-teraflops on the PS5.

Teraflops – or rather, trillions of operations per second – are a way of measuring how faster a graphics card can work.

Both consoles have GDDR6 flash memory, and 16GB to play with.

The Xbox is marginally more powerful.

But the PS5 arguably has a more competitive roster of games.
