Top-secret Apple upgrade set to be unveiled in weeks & could land on 25 iPhone models – check full list today
APPLE is weeks away from unveiling its next big iOS update - and a new leak may have just revealed which iPhones will be receiving it.
The tech giant has confirmed that the annual WWDC event will kick off on 9 June, 2025.
WWDC stands for Worldwide Developers Conference, and it's a week-long event aimed at app-makers.
This is when Apple usually shows off all the shiny new features coming in its next iOS - the software your iPhone runs on.
iOS 19 is the next in the lineup, and should land on iPhones sometime in September if Apple follows its history.
It's free, and features design makeovers alongside new iPhone features and apps.

A post on social media platform X, from a private account with a track history of accurate device compatibility predictions, says iOS 19 will not be available on the iPhone XR, iPhone XS or the iPhone XS Max.
Instead, the poster claims iOS 19 will be available on the following 25 devices:
- iPhone 16e
- iPhone 16
- iPhone 16 Plus
- iPhone 16 Pro
- iPhone 16 Pro Max
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 mini
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro

The X post was seen by Mac Rumors, who first reported the list.

While these iPhones may support iOS 19, advanced features may be limited to newer models with more high-tech chips.
Last year, for example, iOS 18 was compatible with as many as 24 devices.
But just iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models were able to use AI-powered Apple Intelligence features.
Apple's keynote is on 9 June - and is free for anyone to watch.
iOS 19 won't be officially rolled out until several months after Apple's announcement.
But the tech giant usually launched a public beta version of the software a few weeks after the event.
A beta is pre-release version of the iOS software that the public can use to alert Apple of any flaws it needs to fix before a wider roll out.
Apple is also expected to reveal more on software updates for the iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and potentially the Apple Vision Pro too.
