Virtual reality pornography could be available in thousands of European hotels room within six months

Adult entertainment firm hopes to roll out hi-tech smut across the continent, before unleashing it on America

VIRTUAL reality porn could be available inside the hotel rooms of open-minded European cities by the end of the year, insiders have claimed.

Andy Alvarez, a veteran of the online pornography industry, said that he was in talks aimed at bringing VR smut to thousands of hotels on the continent.

There are no current plans to bring the technology here to buttoned up Britain.

Alvarez runs a company called VR3000 which distributes 3D sex flicks.

"The EU has always been light years ahead of the US in terms of a more mature and progressive attitude towards sex," Alvarez said.

"Because of the proliferation of iPads and smartphones, the hotels have taken a major hit on in-room adult movies purchases, which were a massive income stream at one point.

"I believe every male guest will want to try out an adult movie in VR."

The Sun Online has seen correspondence which shows Alvarez and his associates at other adult companies have begun talks with a firm that provides content to 6,000 hotels across Europe, with the scheme expected to begin in the autumn.

This company, which we have decided not to name, already offers lonely travellers to chance to watch very naughty "adult content".

But VR porn offers men a very different experience that's so immersive it's been likened to "virtually cheating on your partner".

The hi-tech adult technology invites men to strap on a headset and then peer through the eyes of a stud as he enjoys the sort of sexual encounter few people are likely to experience in real life.

Alvarez also claimed to be in discussions with three American hotel chains, but said Europe's famously liberal attitude to matters of the flesh meant that the VR sex flicks were most likely to appear on the continent first.

He added: "Hotels that embrace VR now will seem light years ahead of the competition by giving the guests something most have never seen before.

"We believe that within 10 years every hotel room in the EU and US will have permanent VR goggles that remain in the each room."

When VR porn is introduced, men are likely to pay to be given access to a VR channel and then get a password for their mobile phone.
This would allow them to use a cheap viewer such as Google Cardboard, which offers a cheap VR experience.

Hotels could also choose to buy several proper VR headsets, although many will be put off hiring them for non-sexual purposes if they knew men had been using them to watch pornography.

A spokeswoman for the hotel content firm denied it was in talks with VR3000 about introducing VR porn.

However, it is understood that other porn distribution companies are involved in the scheme.
The hotel content firm did not issue a further comment when shown correspondence from one of these companies which suggests the rollout could begin in the autumn.

This correspondence indicated the content company had discussed the idea internally and would make a final decision in June with an eye to potentially introducing VR porn in the autumn.
