What does Fortnite’s ‘Worlds Collide’ message mean, what is planned for season 5, and what are the teasers about?

FORTNITE Season 5 is ONE DAY away and Epic haven't stopped dropping clues about what fans can expect from the games' new chapter.
Among them is the players' mission to decipher what Fortnite's Crack in the Sky is and what this latest mystery means but not to worry - here's all you need to know before Season 5 kicks off at 9 a.m. UK time on July 12...
What is Fortnite's Crack in the Sky?
It was left when the much-hyped rocket launched at Tilted Towers, only to be deflected by some sort of protective shield.
When it exploded in the sky high above the Battle Royale Island, the explosion caused a huge crack to appear.
The crack suggests a shield surrounding the Battle island is deteriorating which leaves it open to be invaded by outside forces.
As so often happens with cracks,
This started out as some of the tendrils getting a little longer, but what was a small crack now fills almost the entire sky.
Secondary cracks have started to split off from the main one, and smaller cracks are appearing at key areas all over the map.
Why are some things vanishing?
Some in-game objects are being affected by little rifts that are appearing all over the map.
The most recent victim is the giant burger-face above Greasy Grove's Durr Burger, .
This was then found in the real world, .
Tomato Town's tomato head on top of the pizza parlour, is also no more, along with Lonely Lodge's sign, and the Motel sign at Anarchy Acres.
Expect the conclusion of Season 4 to feature the crack in the sky continuing to open up to ultimately cause either destruction or a time-rift.

What are the latest Season 5 theories and is it a time-rift?
Fans have speculated that Fortnite's Crack in the Sky could serve a number of purposes, one of which includes acting as a time-rift.
A few leaks online have suggested Season 5 may boast a historical theme, with cosmetic items based around ancient civilizations.
The latest rifts have started depositing things in the world that fit this theory - an old west style stagecoach has recently been deposited near Moisty Mire, as has a dinosaur skeleton and a mysterious wooden anchor.
This may see the rift take Fortnite back through time as the season goes on, however, others have assumed the rift will act instead as a gateway for the arrival of a monster.
The idea is the fabled 'Leviathan' may emerge to become a catalyst for Season 5, however as Season 4 contained both a superhero and blockbuster movie theme, it could yet prove to be both.
Meanwhile, Epic Games have been teasing the launch of Season 5 with images of the crack and various historical items, including a kabuki mask and some sort of axe.
The final teaser just included the words 'Worlds Collide', seemingly referencing the way that Fortnite objects have been appearing in the real world while out-of-place items appear in the game world.
