Fortnite Week 9 Challenge – Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts

FORTNITE Season 5, week nine goes live today, with players eagerly awaiting longer than usual for its release.
Challenges routinely go live on Thursday's, however, Epic has made players wait that little bit longer. Here's the lowdown on what challenges you can expect...
What are the Fortnite Week 9 Challenges?
Free
- Deal 500 damage with Explosive Weapons to opponents (5 Battle Stars)
- Use One ATK (All Terrain Kart) (5 Battle Stars)
- Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts (10 Battle Stars)
Battle Pass
- Search Seven Chests in Pleasant Park (5 Battle Stars)
- Dance Off with One other player near Loot Lake (5 Battle Stars)
- Five Assault Rifle Eliminations (10 Battle Stars)
- Eliminate Three opponents in Tomato Temple (10 Battle Stars)
Due to "a critical controller issue," Epic has confirmed this week's set of challenges was released a day later than usual, on Friday, September 5, 2018.
The issue was discovered upon the release of Fortnite's new heist-themed limited-time mode called The Getaway that gives players a goal other than just being last one standing.

For those who are new to Fortnite, the weekly challenges help you rank up quickly and unlock different outfits, gliders and emotes for your character.
If you are hoping to get the tier-100 Ragnarok outfit or the newly-released Enforcer skin, you will need to complete these challenges.
When was Fortnite season 5 released and what were the changes?
Fortnite Season 5 was officially released on July 12, 2018, and a new Battle Pass brought new skins, emotes and locations to change the look of the map.
As always a new Battle Pass brings with it plenty of new skins, emotes and pickaxes and the main customisable upgradeable skins this time are called Drift and Ragnarok.
It will include vehicles, with a new All Terrain Kart, which holds up to four people and has a bounce pad on the roof.
Original location Anarchy Aches has also paved way for the introduction of beachside holiday site Lazy Links.

The desert has "unique ambient audio", while other areas will be getting their own versions "in future updates", according to Epic Games.
Competitive play with a HUGE prize pool is also on the way, but this is separate from this patch.
For a limited time period, Fortnite's birthday challenges were available to complete to celebrate the game's one-year anniversary.
