Fortnite Switch bundle confirmed – complete with free Double Helix skin
Nintendo joins the bundle party, leaving Microsoft the only console maker without an exclusive look for its players

NINTENDO may have been the last console maker to the Fortnite party, it's making up for lost time.
As well as confirming this week that playing the game will continue to be free even after the paid-for Nintendo Switch Online service launches, they just revealed a new Switch bundle including exclusive Fortnite goodies.
It won't cost any more than a standard Switch when it goes on sales in the US either, despite coming with a Nintendo-exclusive 'Double Helix' Fortnite skin, pickaxe, glider and back bling and approximately £10-worth of in-game currency.
The outfit is just a slightly tweaked version of the Archetype skin, released earlier this month, but done in the red and white of Nintendo's logo.
It has not been confirmed if this bundle is coming to the UK or how much it will cost when it does, however.
This follows on from the theme of Sony's exclusive skins all featuring blue quite prominently -- and lends credence to the suggestion that the green-tinted Eon will be Xbox-exclusive when it finally arrives.

That skin, revealed last week, looks set to be bundled with a pickaxe, glider and back bling and come with 2,000 V-Bucks--worth roughly £20.
Exactly how you will get that skin has not yet been confirmed, but Microsoft's Xbox One is now the only major console that you can't buy in a bundle with an exclusive Fortnite outfit.
We have contacted Nintendo for comment about UK availability and pricing and will update this article when we get more information.
