Fortnite left in third place as Call of Duty: Black Ops IV storms to top of Twitch charts

Just shy of 30 million hours of Black Ops IV were streamed from October 11 to October 17, according to The Esports Observer

THE launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops IV saw more people playing online than any previous Call of Duty game before it.

It has now been revealed it has been the most-watched game on streaming site Twitch, leaving Fortnite for dust.

It even trumped League of Legends, despite the fact that the eSports stalwart's World Championships are underway.

According to analysis , Black Ops IV racked up 28.44 million hours of viewing time--the equivalent of 169,285 people watching it all day, every day for the entire week.

Fortnite, Meanwhile, lagged behind with 18.25 million hours, with 7.75 million of those coming from two individual streamers.

was the most popular individual Black Ops IV streamer with 3.46million hours watched over the course of the week, behind the Fortnite-focused Ninja and tfue.

The official for League of Legends feed and the Korean-language rounded out the top five.

Black Ops streams were just behind with 1.5million hours viewed.

Whether Black Ops IV maintains its popularity over the coming weeks once the launch hype has died down remains to be seen.
