FORTNITE is bringing back the fighter planes that caused chaos not so long ago, but this time they're going to be sequestered in their own mode that turns the game upside down.
Teams of two will compete to be in the last plane flying in the new Air Royale mode, with one piloting as the other shoots while wing-walking.
The storm which normally shrinks the playing area horizontally in ever-decreasing circles will now close down from above, meaning players will need to fly lower and lower as the match wears on.
Touching the ground will eliminate players, though planes will get a couple of seconds grace before exploding if they touch down.
If your plane is destroyed, you and your buddy will respawn with a fresh plane until you run out of lives.
Pilots can grab new weapons for their planes by flying through falling loot chests and fix themselves up with floating repair kits.
Each plane will have three lives, but players will be able to earn more by hijacking enemy fighters.
Air Royale isn't the only addition today, though -- Food Fight is back.
This 50v50 battle sees two teams building huge fortresses around fast food mascot, then defending their own edible icon as they attempt to destroy the opposing team's monument to calorific convenience.

Fortnite is also getting a couple of Easter additions.
The grenade launcher has been converted into an explosive egg launcher to allow those in Battle Royale to mark the holiday, while Save the World players can cavort as "egg-citing" Ninja Dashing Hare Ken or Bunny Brawler Luna.
Elsewhere in-game, the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers continue as players battle it out for a share of £30m.
And finally, this patch means you can now pet the in-game dogs.
Meanwhile, a new Xbox has been revealed, Sony has announced the first details about the PlayStation 5, and a trailer and first look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has emerged.
