Visitors moan the Tower of London is not suitable for kids due to its bloody past

VISITORS have moaned that the Tower of London is not suitable for kids due to its bloody past.
The easily-offended “snowflakes” have even accused its Yeomen Warders — also known as Beefeaters — of being sexist.
Among the reviews posted on the website TripAdvisor are gripes that torture artefacts are too gruesome.
Complaints include guests being given graphic details of executions carried out at the fortress.
Others accused the Beefeaters — who show visitors around the site and give a no-frills and often bawdy taste of life there — of casual sexism.
The Tower, built in 1078 and home to the Crown Jewels, attracts three million visitors every year.
But one posted online: “We took the free tour offered at the Tower and it was entertaining but not at all suitable for children.
"The whole site should be avoided by families with children who are old enough to understand what an execution and torture are.”
Another wrote: “I was also extremely turned off by the repeated sexist language and jokes by my tour guide.”
And another said: “Great tour, marred only by some casual sexism from the presenter.”

But one poster joked: “No live executions or prisoners so kind of boring.”
The Tower’s operator, Historic Royal Palaces, did not comment.
This week The Sun has told how snowflakes have whinged that Mount Snowdon is too steep and rocky and how the Lake District’s boss thinks the area is too white.
