The couple, from Surbiton, Surrey, took daughters Lilly, eight and Chloe, five, to Duinrell Holiday Park at Wassenaar in South Holland.
They loved it so much they’ve been twice — and may book again this year.
Nicholas says: “We got drawn to Sun Hols because of the incredible savings they offer. With a family of four, going abroad, or even staying in the UK, can really dent your finances.
“So it is great to have an option that is so much more affordable than anything else on the market.”

Coast with the most
TEACHING assistant Danielle Hannard loved her Sun holiday on the North Yorkshire coast so much that she is booking again for this year.
Danielle, 25, her partner Ronan Raffell and their three-year-old daughter, Isla, travelled from their home in Newcastle to Parkdean Resorts Cayton Bay Holiday Park. She says: “It was brilliant. We had lots of fantastic family time and could still keep within our budget.
“With money is so tight for everyone, our Sun Holiday ticked all the right boxes.
“Since getting home we have mentioned the amazing break to family and friends and I think many of them will be joining us.
“It was the first time in a caravan for Isla and she really enjoyed it. She chose her bedroom and settled in her teddies!”
Field technician Ronan, 25, says: “To keep costs low we brought food for the caravan and turned it into a self-catering holiday.
“If we ran out of anything we jumped in the car and headed for Scarborough. But there was so much to do in the park we spent most of our time there. It was safe and spotlessly clean.”
'Real value for money'
WHEN friends told Claire Hodge about our amazing cash-saving Sun Holidays she couldn’t believe her ears.
Part-time charity worker Claire says: “What did we have to lose? We could always pack our bags and go home.”
Instead, Claire, 46, and aircraft-engineer husband, Giles, 49, had a perfect time with daughter Esme, five, at Grannie’s Heilan’ Hame at Dornoch, Sutherland.
The Aberdeen mum says: “With the cost of living spiralling, a value-for-money Sun Holiday gives the whole family a break.
“The £9.50 trip gave us time together without worrying about spending more than we can afford.
“There are so many parks you’re spoilt for choice. The beach and tourist attractions are on your doorstep. We load the car with food and essentials and self-cater.
