DUBAI is home to a jaw-dropping £1.1billion mega hotel which offers 90 swimming pools, 24-karat gold facials and unlimited champagne.
Dubbed "the City of Gold" and a renowned magnet for A-listers Atlantis The Royal has pulled out all the stops to impress.
Unfortunately, this luxurious hotel is far out of most people's price range costing up to £160,000 a night.
Every inch of Atlantis The Royal is drenched in luxury and no expense has been spared in ensuring guests receive five-star treatment.
The hotel’s 795 rooms boast designer amenities from diamond jeweller Graff, bathrobes by Italian luxury textile brand Frette.
The theme of the interior is water and is repeated throughout the resort, from glass elevators encased in 3,500 gallons of cascading water, to three floor-to-ceiling aquariums filled with 7,200 marine animals.

Guests with access to the “Royal Club” can take advantage of all-day champagne service and daily afternoon tea and canapes, though there’s no shortage of places to eat here.
The resort has 17 dining options and Tom Roelens, general manager, said this includes “the largest collection of celebrity chef restaurants anywhere on the planet".
Not only is the hotel one of the most luxurious in the world, but it also boasts many quirky and unique features such as a pillow "menu" and a gold-plated grooming set.
Presented in a sleek wooden box, there's a gold comb, hairbrush and razor, as well as the usual toiletries.

Best of all, guests don't have to feel bad about slipping them in their bag, as hotel bosses reportedly expect this to happen.
Guests also have a choice of visiting a whopping 32,300 square-foot spa where they can be treated to a gold facial or a "golden hour massage” using gold-dipped hot volcanic stones.
And the hotel certainly has the swimming pool front covered, with not one, not two, but 90 pools for guests to choose from.
It has 795 rooms, 44 of which have their own infinity pool and the cheapest will set you back £1,000 a night.
If extra space is required, it can be converted to 15 rooms at £160,000 a night.
According to CNN the resort’s "must-see venue" is Cloud 22, the infinity pool on the 22nd floor.
It has “floating” sun loungers shaded by Dolce&Gabbana parasols and offers mind-blowing views of the iconic man-made Palm islands.
There are also with cocktails and light bites available at the swim-up lotus bar.

The Royal offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island.
Designed by top architects, it features six towers joined together by a 90ft infinity pool and is 43 storeys high.
The hotel sits on 406,000 square metres, and is a huge addition to Dubai's iconic skyline which features buildings such as the Burj Khalifa.
