Introducing Costa Adeje
One of Tenerife’s glistening new resorts, Costa Adeje is the upmarket answer to a fantastic holiday minus the overpriced restaurants and stuffy atmosphere. Live glamorously in sparkling new hotels, and enjoy the laid-back yet energetic nightlife and incredible beaches. A charming mixture of local traditions and cosmopolitan culture, a trip to Costa Adeje should be high on your Canary Island bucket list.
Getting Around Costa Adeje
Costa Adeje is fairly compact so walking is a popular option for getting around town. Scooters are also available for rent.
Taxis are affordable and plentiful, with licensed taxis showing a green light on their roof when they are free to be flagged down. Drivers are required to display a visible taxi meter and prices are regulated by the council but you should still expect to pay more for night fares.
If you want to explore further afield, then car hire is quite affordable in Tenerife and there are several rental companies to choose from. A great way to see the stunning sights this island has to offer, driving in Tenerife can be a pleasure. Just remember to stick to the right-hand side and abide by the same rules of the road you would back home. Free on-street parking is common in the major towns.
If car hire doesn’t suit you, there are some good bus routes connecting Costa Adeje to its neighbouring towns and resorts. It can be more cost-effective to purchase a pre-paid Bono Bus Card at a newsagent.
