I moved to Benidorm after one visit – it’s paradise with £1 beers & cheap bills

A TRAVEL influencer has revealed how he moved to Benidorm after one visit – and says he’ll never return to the UK.
A young travel influencer opted to move to Benidorm after just one visit, due to better weather and cheaper pints.
Harry Poulton had become "fed up" with living in "depressing" Britain, offer finding it too "cold dreary and gloomy".
The 24-year-old wanted to experience a more "laid back" lifestyle, so ditched everything he knew including his family and friends to make a move to Benidorm following a lads holiday.
Now, the travel influencer has no desire to return the the UK.
He said: "After I visited Benidorm, I knew that was the place I wanted to settle down.

"It offers great weather, beautiful beaches and such a laid-back vibe.
"It’s the complete opposite of the UK."
Harry, who made the move at just 18, says that since being there, he’s realised how wrong Brits are about the country.
He added: “Everyone says not to visit Benidorm, as you’ll get scammed or mugged.

“And that bars will rip tourists off with extortionate prices for drinks.
“But that’s all absolute rubbish. Benidorm has so much on offer and it’s not a place you’ll regret going."
He added that beers are cheap, usually coting less than a £1 and that he can go out for dinner "without breaking the bank".
In total, Harry only spends between £500 - £1,000 per month on his total bills, commenting that he is much happier in the Spanish location than he ever was in the UK.
However, he does miss some British staples including Greggs, Pizza Hut and McDonald's milkshakes.
To anyone looking to make the move to the Spanish destination, Harry advised to do your research and to "learn some basic Spanish before coming".
He also warned that travellers should do some financial planning and be prepared to fill out some paperwork, as since Brexit there is more admin.
"It’s completely transformed my life – and being so young, I’m glad I leaped now rather than later," he added.
"Benidorm is paradise – anyone who says otherwise is lying."
Benidorm often gets a bad reputation due to stag and hen do's being attracted to the destination's vibrant nightlife.
However, it also boasts long sandy beaches, traditional Spanish charm and is a good value-for-money holiday spot.
