A couple, Mel and Ed, have revealed they want to transform their farmland found near the village of Lifton into a fun adventure park.

On their that illustrates what the potential park will look like, they said: "Our dream is to transform this farmland into a stunning park that offers a plethora of activities both on and off newly dug lakes.

"Picture this: a cozy café, scenic walking paths, and communal areas nestled alongside exhilarating water-based activities like swimming, paddle-boarding, wakeboarding, and an aqua park."

The illustrative image shows how it would be laid out with the park on either side of the A30.

On the north of the road will be the original farmhouse as well as a cycle and car park and a bus stop.

On the other side of the A30 is the rest of the park.

There are two aqua parks, a smaller one for juniors and a larger one for teens and adults.

Next to these is another lake for open water activities such as wakeboarding and swimming.

There will also be a clubhouse with a cafe, work hub, and multi-use space.

The community spaces are areas of the park that can be used to host small local events like food festivals and markets.

The site will also include wooden buildings housing a reception area, changing rooms, cafes, toilets, and storage.

The details also include free activities for locals to enjoy.

These will be accessible walking paths and a children’s play area will be free of charge.

At the moment, the park is only in the early stages with planning permission still needing to be granted.

They have also asked for feedback from the community and local businesses.

If all goes to plan, they are hoping to have their first season in the summer of 2026.
