This new 20-person submarine with its own library and BAR is the ultimate underwater party pad
The Neyk is a luxury personal submarine for millionaires that can reach depths of 500 metres

IT’S no longer cool enough for the billionaires of the world to have a yacht – they’ll soon all have their submarine too.
A new personal sub is being built in the Netherlands that can reach depths of 500 metres.
The Neyk is a collaboration between Ocean Submarine, MTU, Bosch and Rolls-Royce.
The luxury submarine is between 63 and 79 feet in length, so there is plenty of space for an underwater party.
The different sizes can fit between ten and 20 passengers at a time and it has the same width as a normal private jet.
The luxury interior includes a full galley and also a bar and a library.
Customers will be able to customise their own submarines, with different interiors, air conditioning, lighting and heating systems.

They can also add on landing gear so that the submarine can drive straight up onto a beach and a clear nose cone that guests can use as a 270 degree viewing room.
The makers say that they will have a protoype ready to show prospective buyers in January 2018.
Ocean Submarine founder Martin van Eijk told : “The project began in 2009 based on a hull that would be suitable for the Navy and coastguard services, as well as the luxury market.
“My goal was to combine the expertise in aircraft, spaceships and underwater vessels."
He added: "The result is a new generation of submarines featuring a single multi-purpose hull, offering a unique level of luxury and experience in a submarine.”
There is no price yet for the Neyk, but it is most likely to run into several million pounds.
