Explore the stark beauty of the moors at Lee Byre
The B&B offers guided walks and mountain biking - including a night-time guided walk. Or owner Guy can give you the lowdown so you can head out alone

YOU get through a lot of CDs on the fourhour drive from South East London to the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
My fiancée Poppy and I sang along through everything from Marvin Gaye to Plan B - but it was worth every minute.
Our destination was Lee Byre B&B in the tranquil hamlet of Coryton in Devon and from the moment we arrived, it was clear it was somewhere special.
It's a foodie's dream, with its own vegetable garden. It also produces its own honey and is near to woods for foraging expeditions.
After being greeted by Kathrin and Judy - two members of the family who own the B&B - we could not wait to explore.
Soon we were off, armed with a delicious packed lunch and a map, both provided by our hosts.
The scenery, on the border of Devon and Cornwall, is jaw-dropping and it was three hours before we returned.
Once a working farm, Lee Byre also offers dinner and we were soon tucking into a fantastic meal of homemade bread buns with a wild garlic pesto dip followed by fish cakes with mussel dressing and poached eggs.
We went to bed - in one of the three chic bedrooms - very happy and very full. Next day began with a breakfast of yoghurt, granola and fresh local honey in the company of Jessie, possibly the world's most friendly dog. Belly-rubs were mandatory.

His in-depth knowledge of the local area pointed us towards exactly what we were looking for. He gave us a list of spots ranging from the Postbridge Clapper Bridge to the popular Hound Tor, and off we trotted. We found a glorious mix of history and nature.
Lee Byre is in the perfect spot to explore the beauties of Cornwall but it provides one thing most of the county does not: value for money.
Prices start at £75 per night for a double or twin, including the sensational breakfast. And that mind-blowing two-course dinner was only £19.50 a head. Packed lunches are £7.50 per person.
We stayed for two nights and it was not long enough to do it justice - you want three nights minimum because there is so much more to explore.
