Heathrow travellers face passport control queues of more than two hours
The longest queues happened on July 6, when non-EEA visitors spent up to two hours and 36 minutes waiting in immigration queues

HEATHROW travellers faced queues of two-and-a-half hours at passport control last month.
The airport’s 45-minute target was hit on just one day, figures show.
The worst was July 6, when waiting times for non—EU visitors peaked at two hours, 36 minutes.
The figures come a week after British Airways chief Alex Cruz said Heathrow had the longest queues in Europe.
Virgin Atlantic boss Craig Kreeger said the “unacceptable” delays come when the UK needs to show the world it is open for business.
The Home Office said the queues were partly down to a computer failure.
