Will there be a season 2 of I Hate Suzie?
SKY Atlantic's edgy drama I Hate Suzie gripped viewers with its unique mix of humour and gravity - and fans are dying for a second season.
The first series, starring Billie Piper, certainly left room for plot development, so it seems more episodes could be on the cards.
Will there be a season two of I Hate Suzie?
So far, the show has not been renewed or cancelled by Sky.
Writer Lucy Prebble has made no comments either.
However, actor Nathaniel Martello-White who plays Carter in the series, offered his thoughts to to .
He said “You know when you watch something like I May Destroy You and you get to the end and that feels complete and it really feels like a complete journey?
That’s how I feel with I Hate Suzie… You’d love to see more but also why spoil something that feels complete.”
How does season one of I Hate Suzie end?
The first series of the Sky Atlantic comedy saw Billie Piper play Suzie, a former teen pop star-turned-actress who has intimate photos stolen from her phone by hackers who then leak them on the Internet.
In each episode, Suzie goes through all the stages of grief — Shock, Denial, Fear, Shame, Bargaining, Guilt, Anger and Acceptance — alongside her best friend and manager, Naomi (Leila Farzad).
The first series featured eight episodes and the last episode culminated in Suzie's decision to leave her husband Cob.
He did not take the news well, and promised to make her life miserable.
Tragically, however, we saw Suzie take a pregnancy test, and, although the camera didn't show us the results directly, we heard Suzie yell, "F**k!" from her car, implying it was positive.
Meanwhile, Suzie is left in further turmoil after Naomi announces that she no longer wants to be an agent and is moving to Iran.
Viewers have been left desperate for another series after finishing the first season.
One viewer tweeted: “@billiepiper Please tell me there's a second series in the works-That cannot be the end! I've just binge watched all day. Effing Brilliant! And I'm sat sobbing at that last scene #IHateSuzie”
Another wrote: “It’s been a looooong time since I binged watched anything, but I was HOOKED on #IHateSuzie I watched the full series in one go, mainly because of how incredible @billiepiper is in it. What a great piece of television!,” added a second.
