Power Book 2 fans rage as crime drama pulled off air until December amid production shutdown

POWER Book II fans have been left raging after the crime drama was pulled off air until December amid a production shutdown.
The spin-off series had reached the mid-season finale point, with viewers gripped by the antics of Tariq and Tasha St Patrick from the original show as well as it's many new characters.
However, they have been left furious to learn new episodes won't hit screens until December, at the earliest.
The Starz network has yet to confirm what is happening with the show, but the delays have no doubt been caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which has caused virtually every show to close down production at some point.
Entertainment blog Cartermatt speculated episode six could hit screens in December, saying: “We know that there are five episodes back, and because of timing, we know that the show’s probably going to run straight through to the new year.
“Our hope right now is that the series will be back on Sunday, December 6, though that has not been 100% confirmed as of yet.”
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Power Book 2 not coming back on until December is str8 bulls**t.”
Another tweeted: “You mean to tell me I waited all day to watch Power Book 2 episode 6 only to find there’s nothing till December smh.”
Hopefully it will be worth the wait, as show runner Courtney Kemp recently teased during a chat with Entertainment Weekly: "Oh, it gets so much more intense.
"All of the relationships get much more complicated. Tariq has to make some decisions, some familiar faces from Power show back up. It's intense.”
