LOVE Island's Faye Winter has been sent violent death threats in the aftermath of her explosive argument with Teddy last night.

The reality star lost her temper after watching Teddy snog Clarisse in Casa Amor and then proclaim "I'm technically single" in a chat with the lads afterwards.

She then went on a rampage taking down every boy in the villa before having a furious fight with Teddy in front of the stunned Islanders.

He later broke down in tears as his relationship with the feisty estate agent ended.

But fans have been left horrified by the "disgusting comments" left on Faye's Instagram page, which is being run by her friends and family.

One said: "100% get the Faye rage BUT death threats and the comments on her instagram are f***ing disgusting.

"Multiple accounts with no profile pic and following two people saying ‘die, you should die’ ??? It’s bewildering that people STILL do this even after all the deaths."

Another added: "Faye went too far in today’s ep but she’s gonna get so much abuse online now, including death threats. That s*** isnt acceptable."

Someone else said: "People need to remember Faye's family have her social media and are seeing all the horrific things you are saying about her. Her family doesn't need to be seeing death threats and disgusting comments, I hope they are all ok after tonight."

Love Island warned fans to "think before you post" before the episode was aired last night.

Axed star Sharon Gaffka told her followers: "I just want to quickly remind Love Island fans that no matter what has happened in tonight's episode, and no matter your opinion, please remember that it is somebody's friend or family member managing their accounts.

"They do read the messages they get sent!

"I beg please do not use this as an excuse to send horrible messages to any islanders socials."

The dramatic scenes saw Faye brand her partner Teddy a "two-faced p***k" in the series' most explosive clash to date.

Faye was even more angered when she watched egg on the boys to pursue the new girls, despite calling her his "sister" before heading off to the second villa.

Reeling off swear like machine gun fire, she tore into the lads and said she was willing to fall out with all of them.

Dale and Matthew were savagely burned as they tried to intervene, and the lads clubbed together to try and contain the situation.

But it all fell apart later in the episode as Faye and Teddy had it out in the kitchen.

Love Island bosses overhauled their “duty of care” in the wake of ex-contestants’ deaths.

A new clinical psychologist was brought in to review their procedures and monitor stars.

The new intake will get extensive social media training — including how to handle trolls.
