When does Waterloo Road season 2 start?

AFTER a successful reboot in early 2023, Waterloo Road is returning for another new series.
The school-based drama was axed back in 2015, but has since been revived by the BBC.
When does Waterloo Road start?
Waterloo Road will kick off on BBC One TONIGHT (May 16, 2023) at 8pm.
The new series of the high school show will air for seven episodes.
Cast members include Kym Marsh and Scarlett Thomas, while a number of former Waterloo Road stars are reprising their characters.
These include Angela Griffin (Kim Campbell), Adam Thomas (Donte Charles), and Katie Griffiths (Chlo Charles).

Waterloo Road will run for seven episodes on BBC One on Tuesday nights at 8pm.
The series can also be watched on the as a boxset, after the first episode has aired.

It also helped to launch the careers of Bridgerton stars Rege-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, as well as Emmerdale's Adam Thomas and Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman.
It detailed the lives of pupils and staff at the fictional school which was originally based in Rochdale.
A boxset version of the show was released on the BBC’s iPlayer in 2019 where it continued to be a big hit, with the corporation saying it was particularly popular with younger and more diverse audiences.
