JEOPARDY! fans were all left saying the same thing tonight after Pete Davidson's face made a surprise appearance on the game show.

Kim Kardashian's 28-year-old boyfriend was the subject of the opening question.

Taking to the Alex Trebek stage, host Mayim Bialik opened tonight's game with the clue: "This funny man and former fiance was one of those who inspired Ariana Grande's song, Thank U, Next."

Viewers were then shown a full-screen picture of the SNL comedian.

The clue referred to Pete's high profile relationship with singer Ariana Grande, 28, although he is now more well-known for dating reality star Kim, 41.

His relationship with the SKIMS mogul has caused a very public rift between him and Kim's rapper ex Kanye West, 44.

Addressing the well-known beef, one fan on Twitter joked: "Kanye threw his TV, first Jeopardy! question."

Another wrote: "Pete Davidson was the first answer of Jeopardy! and they HAD to feature a big ole picture of him!"

A third remarked: "The 5 seconds of fame Ariana Grande gave Pete Davidson turned him into an a/b list celebrity. That’s crazy."

Meanwhile one viewer gushed: "Pete Davidson was just the answer to a Jeopardy! question, I’m screaming of joy."

Last month, fans were stunned by a rare question about RHONJ's Teresa Giudice.

The clue, from a Reality TV category, read: "Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga dealt with some seriously unreal situations as 'Real Housewives' of this state."

While Mattea Roach correctly buzzed in with "What is: New Jersey," fans buzzed in with "What is: happening?"

"#RHONJ was a Jeopardy answer tonight," acknowledged one Twitter user.

"New Joisey #Jeopardy," tweeted another.

THE HOST OF JEOPARDY

Mayim is currently at the helm of the much-loved game show after Ken Jennings, 47, announced he is taking a long hiatus.

The two have been sharing hosting duties while viewers eagerly await to discover who will be revealed as the new permanent host of Jeopardy!
