I’m a Love Island superstar and we were convinced producers were lying to us – but the show’s NOT fixed says Kem Cetinay

LOVE Island star Kem Cetinay has told how the 2017 cast were convinced they were being lied to by producers.
However, he insists the show is not even slightly fixed saying: "They keep it as authentic as possible."
Kem - a key part of the winning World side on Soccer Aid last night - appeared on Love Island in 2017.
He won the series with Amber Davies, but their relationship proved short-lived with the pair calling it quits soon after their victory.
The star, now 26, opened up about his time in the villa, explaining to : "The most common question I get asked is: 'Is it fixed?'
"It's quite frustrating because it's really not. It couldn't be less fixed if you wanted it to be!"

He added: "There was a drone outside and a camera that was connected to a crane.
"Every time the crane used to move, we used to think it was Caroline [Flack] walking down the stairs.
"Everyone would go 'The crane is moving!' and they'd start packing up their cases.
"Someone of the producers would come in, saying: 'Please stop packing your things, we're just moving the crane.'

"We'd be like 'No, you're lying!' We were convinced because there were so many surprises."
Essex boy Kem became a fan favourite during the early days of Love Island thanks to his cheeky personality and friendship with Chris Hughes.
Since hitting the spotlight, Kem's become a regular on reality TV. He even tried his hand at cooking in the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen.
In 2018 Kem took part in Dancing On Ice, and finished in fourth place.
He has since gone on to be a guest on several television series, including Love Island: Aftersun, I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp and Happy Hour with Olly Murs, a one-off special.
The star now has a grooming collection called Kem Cuts in Primark.
