Craig, 57, who is back on the judging panel this year, revealed he has concerns about Kaye, 59, donning "skimpy" outfits for the routines.

He joked that the talk show host - who is set to join the famous faces taking part in Strictly this year - would have to "sell herself bare".

Craig told "Kaye Adams I'm slightly concerned about! I think she'll do quite well at ballroom stuff, but I'm worried about the Latin.

"The sex appeal and the hip action and rhythm, things like the cha-cha-cha might prove ... a challenge, darling.

"It's the selling yourself bare - the costumes are all quite skimpy with the Latin."

It comes after Strictly contestant Kaye revealed she had sustained her first injury just DAYS into her training for the show.

The talk show anchor took to her Instagram page to upload a snap showing the palm of her hand looking red raw and sore.

Kaye wrote: "First Strictly injury," before telling her following it was caused: "From overenthusiastic clapping!"

The ITV anchor has also previously admitted how Strictly Come Dancing's intense rehearsal schedule has played havoc with her sleep.

She took to Twitter to write: "Struggled to sleep last night after the first day of Strictly rehearsals. Tried to count sheep but couldn't get past 5, 6, 7, 8."

Kaye was then told she was "nearly deaf in one ear" ahead of taking to the dancefloor.

The Sun exclusively reported how she had undergone a series of tests ahead of appearing on the hit BBC dance show and had been told she needs help.

She confirmed her “hearing is an issue” and that “I probably should be thinking about getting hearing aids”.

Kaye said the checks found one ear had a “poor level” of hearing and the other was trying to compensate.
