Love Island Lana’s secret soap connection – and it’s not Hollyoaks star ex boyfriend Owen Warner
LOVE Island star Lana Jenkins has more connections to soaps than just her ex Owen Warner.
The stunner’s mum is in fact a script supervisor who works on Hollyoaks – and is pals with many of the cast members.
Rachel Jenkins has worked for Channel 4 for a number of years, overseeing scripts for continuous drama.
She has spent large periods of her career working on Hollyoaks, on which Owen plays Romeo Valentine, both as a script supervisor and production co-ordinator.
Her Instagram posts, which show her on set as recently as December, are liked and commented on by various cast members
Lana, 25, dated Owen during lockdown in 2020, but despite splitting two years ago, she admitted she is still heartbroken.

Before entering the villa, she admitted it was still too raw for her to watch his jungle stint last year.
She said: “I have had one heartbreak which was my last relationship, but I think coming out of that made me a better, stronger person.
“I’m all about forgiveness. I think, if I forgive, then it makes me feel better.
"So I don’t necessarily think a bad break-up is a bad thing in the long run.

“We’ve both moved on with our lives. He probably won’t watch, because I wouldn’t watch it if he was on there.”
She opened up about her famous ex on Love Island after a game of Never Have I Ever, when she revealed her most recent boyfriend was an actor.
After the game Ron, who she is coupled up with, quizzed her and she explained: "It’s my ex-boyfriend… he’s called Owen Warner.”
Taken aback, Ron replied: “So basically I’m competing with someone who's just come runner-up on a massive show and who’s an actor and I work in finance, yeah, erm, sick. This is great.”
