In a bid to save money the BBC News and World News channels have merged to create one channel.

It's meant a number of high profile presenters have been dropped from anchoring bulletins.

Joanna Gosling left the Beeb at the start of this year while Shaun Ley recently departed too.

Last week Martine Croxall signed off from her last bulletin which left fans devastated.

And now the 54-year-old has reunited with a number of her fellow presenters.

The group posed for a selfie at a pub London pub as they enjoyed a bottle of rosé.

Martine captioned the snap: "Rarely seen in the same room together but it’s magic when it happens!"

She was with Kasia Madera, Geeta Guru-Murthy, Annita McVeigh and Karin Giannone.

Fans were left swooning over the 'talented' bunch of women and flooded the comments section with replies.

One wrote: "Enjoy yourselves! Can you imagine sitting there and these ladies walk in? Be Still my beating heart."

A second wrote: "Wonderful to see you all. Highly disappointed that you're not on our screens. @BBCNews awful decision."

"Awww such beauty and brains," said a third.

While a fourth commented: "What a glorious spread of talent."
