Game of Thrones star is unrecognisable after glam 80s makeover for new ITV drama

GAME of Throne’s star Sophie Turner is almost unrecognisable after undergoing a glam 80s makeover for her new ITVX drama.
The 27-year-old is set to star in the new six-part drama inspired by real life notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington.
Sophie, who shares two daughters with husband Joe Jonas, 33, looked very different from Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones, the role that launched her career.
Joan is set in the fun, brash, bright and aspirational world of 1980s London and Sophie looked every inch the part in her character’s clothes and hairstyle.
Wearing a oversized white fur coat, acid-wash jeans and hi-top Reebok trainers, the actor completed her look with gold hoop earrings and red-painted nails.
Sophie also swapped her GoT character’s trademark red tresses for a huge bouncy bleach blonde mane.

Filming is currently taking place in Herne Bay, Kent, and Sophie was joined by Jack Greenless, her co-star in the series.
Jack maintained the 80s look wearing a black leather jacket, smart trousers and brown shoes. He also sported a moustache and had his hair slicked back.
Discussing the exciting project, the actor said: “I’m so excited to be bringing Joan Hannington’s fascinating life story to screen in Joan.
“She is one of the most notorious figures in the criminal underworld of London, earning her the nickname “The Godmother.”
