The home in the seaside town of Barry features in several episodes of Gavin and Stacey as Uncle Bryn's home.

It is a meeting spot in the comedy series for characters including Smithy, Nessa and Gwen.

The current owner, Lisa Edwards, was unaware of her home's TV connection when she bought it in 2006.

She found out when she saw Uncle Bryn, played by Rob Brydon, showing Gavin on his computer during the series.

She said: "The first time I realised I was in the house was watching it on TV. I thought it looked like my living room at the time and it was the weirdest feeling.

"Our neighbours were away at the time so I couldn't ask them so I rang the BBC.

"They said due to data protection they couldn't tell us - they said they were filming series two and if someone knocked on my door then we would know."

This comes after the house featured in another famous tv show was recently sold.

Lisa said she was approached to see if they could use the house to film as the series continued.

She said she met the shows stars as they would come and go from her house.

She said: "James Corden wasn't really in any scenes but he directed most of it.

"There was one scene and I was upstairs and there was a bottle opener in a drawer in the living room.

"Every time someone walked past the drawer it started making a sound because it was a novelty one.

"I went downstairs and as I'm a Girl Guide leader and the drawer was full of craft stuff. He looked at me and said 'I've got a drawer of s*** but this takes the biscuit!'"

The house in Trinity Street, Barry, comes with three double bedrooms and a lounge at the front with bay window.

There is a kitchen and bathroom at the back with a door leading out to the rear courtyard garden and is on the market with Chris Davies Estate Agents.

This comes after a five-bedroom house hiding a showbiz secret went on the market last year.
