Once again Charlie Dimmock was back on screen as another guest received a makeover to their lawn.

Viewers were introduced to Elaine and Paul in Mickleover who love all things 50s - including that eras cars, clothes, music and dancing.

But Elaine also loved fairies and wanted that to feature in her garden.

For £3,000, Charlie and Chris created a garden inspired by the rock and roll era that will also make the couple’s fairytale dreams come true.

When it came to the transformation, Elaine and Paul were left stunned by the makeover.

Charlie had factored in Elaine's love of fairies when creating the space which left her delighted.

However, fans at home weren't impressed with the retro garden and took to social media to slam it.

One wrote: "£3,000 for that! 2 huge exhausts sticking out a water feature and the new turf looked awful, gaps where it all joined Poor workmanship!"

A second said: "Did anyone watch #gardenRescue? Why are there 2 fridges in the garden?"

"Definitely not worth the money," said a third.

Garden Rescue is available now on iPlayer.
