In February he claimed Gabby falsely represented her income as loans.

In their High Court claim, the Logans say the allegations seriously distressed and embarrassed them, while exposing them to public ridicule and contempt.

Gabby, 50, states “her credibility and effectiveness” in her job as a presenter is “dependent on her perceived integrity”.

Ex-Scotland rugby star Kenny, 51, says his work with children’s charities and businesses has been affected.

They want damages and an injunction banning Mr Jones from repeating the claims.
