GIRLS star Lena Dunham looked incredible in a rare appearance at a posh UK party.
The actress and writer, 36, glammed up for the Serpentine Summer Party and was almost unrecognisable from her days on the hit HBO show.

Lena, who created the smash series about lost twentysomethings in New York and also starred in it as Hannah Horvath, wowed in an elegant long black satin number.
Posing with artist and fashion designer Carly Mark as she arrived at the bash in London, Lena turned heads with her dramatic look.
She paired the long-sleeved ensemble with a flowing gold scarf and wore her brunette locks long and straight.
Lena, who is best pals with Taylor Swift, accessorised with a black handbag, emblazoned with a quirky cookie design, and wore a gold chain around her neck.

Lena lives in the UK these days and is married to musician Luis Felber, but rarely makes red carpet appearances.
She has battled chronic pain conditions and earlier this year celebrated being five years sober after becoming addicted to prescription pills.
The celebrated star wrote on instagram back in April: "5 years ago today, I set foot - trembling like a little kid - into treatment for substance misuse. My parents hugged me goodbye, I changed into house slippers and there I was.
"The struggle with addiction hit me little by little, then all at once. It’s a cliche for a reason- asking for help was the hardest part (I mean, aside from the other hard parts, but each step from there got easier.

The series won a slew of awards and made stars out of not only Lena but her costars Adam Driver, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet.
It was known for its no-holds-barred sex scenes in which Lena frequently bared all.
