This Morning star rushed to hospital as he hits out at trolls telling them to ‘get a grip’

STRICTLY and This Morning star Dr Ranj Singh has revealed he needed hospital treatment - but slammed people for jumping to conclusions.
The TV star was forced to make an urgent dash to hospital yesterday, and hit out at "plonkers" for trying to diagnose him without the facts.
Dr Ranj, 44, told his 347,000 followers: "Unfortunately I had dehydration after a bout of food poisoning."
He continued: "Luckily I got great care from our NHS and was discharged home after some fluids to recover!"
Addressing the rumours that had spread online, he fired back: "Unfortunately there are some absolute plonkers on social media (Twitter) who think my recent hospital stay was something to do with vaccines.
"It wasn't. Honestly, get a grip!"

His remarks come a month after he threatened to quit Twitter, calling it a “horribly unkind place”.
Dr Ranj worked on This Morning as a resident medical expert alongside Phillip Schofield, 61, and his ex co-host Holly Willoughby for six years before stepping down in 2022.
In May, the star - who now works on BBC's Morning Live - took to Instagram to tell fans he had thought “long and hard” about opening up on his experiences at This Morning but was desperate to “clarify” what happened.
He made his comments prior to Phillip coming clean about his affair with a much younger ITV runner.

Phillip, who was married at the time, branded the relationship "unwise but not illegal" after being axed by the broadcaster.
Dr Ranj later clarified his initial comments - insisting they were not about Phil after all.
In a message posted to his public page Dr Ranj wrote: "Just for clarity my complaint (and investigation) was not about Phillip - it was not about ITV as a channel and I did speak up when I was working on This Morning.
"I flagged up my concerns as I was supposed to and I did it because I wanted things to be better for all. As I still do."
