I’m having best sex of my life after shedding four stone & might have surgery to fix ‘pancake’ boobs, says Ola Jordan
MOST couples heading towards a 20th wedding anniversary aren’t afraid to admit losing their mojo when it comes to sex.
But that cannot be said of ex-Strictly Come Dancing favourite Ola Jordan, who will celebrate the milestone with fellow show pro dancer James, 45, in October.
Ola, 40, who has lost 3st 7lb, admits they can’t get enough of each other thanks to her newfound confidence.
She says with a smile: “If I wear something sexier in the bedroom, it naturally gives you confidence.
“I was a size 14 and I’m now a size eight.
“When I wear a nice dress because I feel better about my body, James will say, ‘Oh that’s nice, I like that’.

“You’re also happier within yourself so things improve around you, whether it be in the bedroom or your relationship.
“You’re generally a happier person. And it’s not just the bedroom thing — you want to go out more and see people.
“It gives you more confidence to do things.
“And James is fit. He always was fit. I’m a very lucky girl.”

Ola revealed she went up three dress sizes after the birth of their first daughter Ella in February 2020.
The couple were candid about their weight gain and, last July, posted an honest snap of themselves posing next to a pool showing off their bigger bodies.
Trim Ola shocked her Instagram followers with the photograph and admitted she chose to share it in a bid to push herself to take on a healthier lifestyle.
She wrote with the snap: “I wasn’t going to post this picture but I’ve decided to because I’m horrified and so disappointed with myself, and by posting it I’m hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it.
“Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but oh my God, it was a total shock to say the least.
‘Happy with my body’
“When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’? We know we’re not in our best Strictly shape but hey, that’s what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby - I just want to know James’ excuse.”
As a couple, they vowed to change their unhealthy ways and created a new weight loss programme, Dance Shred, with dance-based exercises, before unveiling their trimmer physiques earlier this year.
Ola, who is now 8st 3lb, says: “I’m quite happy to say I’ve kept it all off.
“I’m proud of myself in some ways because I know how it is — sometimes you lose it and then you put a bit on, but I think I’ve found my balance.
“I can still go out and enjoy my meal and a drink, and yet still go back into my Dance Shred in the day and follow the diet in the week.
“When I’m at home, I try to follow the diet and be good, and then when I’m out I enjoy myself. I think James and I have both found our balance.”
She adds: “Obviously my body will never be the same as when I was on Strictly ten years ago.
“And since I’ve had Ella, my stomach and boobs will look different and that’s something I can’t change.
“However, I’m now smaller and fitter and healthier, and I feel like I can get down and up from the floor easier.
“Before, I’d struggle to sit down and get up when Ella asked me to play with her.
“It’s more difficult when you have weight on you — and three-and-a-half stone is a lot of weight to carry.
“I can now run around after her without being out of breath.
“Since I’ve lost the weight, I’ve gone through my wardrobe and got rid of a lot of my bigger items.
“And then I’ve found the older stuff and realised, ‘I remember this, I used to like wearing this’.
“So I feel like I’ve got this new wardrobe, but it’s my wardrobe if you know what I mean.
“It’s so nice to be able to fit into those dresses again.”
After seeing her body change, Ola said she’s learned to accept the way she looks — but hasn’t ruled out going under the knife.
“I’d never say never,” she admits. “I’m quite happy and I’m very lucky I don’t have any stretch marks on my tummy — and I’m quite happy with my body.
“My boobs are flat as a pancake, but I don’t know if I’d want a boob job.
“I don’t know how I feel about them, but I’m like that with everything.
“I don’t have Botox — I’m a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to those sorts of things.
“I think losing weight has made me look a bit younger. When I put on weight it goes to my face and I feel I look much younger when I lose it.”
Ola quit Strictly after a decade of competing for the coveted Glitterball trophy back in 2015, two years after James decided his time on the huge BBC dancing show was over.
The pair had Ella five years after Ola left, and they are now gearing up to celebrate their china anniversary on October 12.
Unlike other celebrity couples such as David and Victoria Beckham, and Jamie and Jools Oliver, Ola and James have shunned the idea of renewing their vows and have a far more extravagant plan in mind.
Ola says: “We want to go on a trip to Las Vegas. We’ve been there many times in the past, but a lot of the time we were working.
“We love watching the shows and we want to party a bit, so we said, ‘Let’s go to Vegas’. I think that would be the dream.
“People have been asking if we’ll renew our vows, but we’re not into that whole thing.
“We did it once before, so we don’t need to spend money renewing our vows as we’d rather go to Vegas and party — that’s the plan.”
Ola and James first met at a dance competition back in 1999.
The pair later became a pro pairing and their relationship later went from business to romance.
‘We’re a team’
“I’d just turned 21 two weeks before our wedding and I thought I was all grown up and ready to go,” laughs Ola.
“Yet looking back, and when I see my nieces and nephews now, I was so young. Being 21 is very young to tie the knot.
“James was 25 at the time, so we were both young kids when you think about it, but it was the right decision because we’re still together.”
She adds: “We’re a team. We are never too serious and we always laugh at each other and play jokes on one another.
“We’ve been together for such a long time, I think we’ve merged into the same person.”
While it’s been eight years since she last competed on Strictly, Ola and James are still avid fans of the show and regularly share their critiques with their social media followers.
Their comments may not have always gone down so well with their former BBC bosses though, with Ola — who won the show in 2009 with broadcaster Chris Hollins — calling out judges for “inconsistent” marking.
She laughs: “I don’t think they’d knock at my door, but who wouldn’t want that job?
“I’m still in touch with everyone [from the show] though.
“We have a WhatsApp group which is still going, and every now and then someone will message something into it, which is nice.
“Obviously, it’s hard to keep in touch because everyone has such different lives and some are based in different parts of the world.”
The next goal for Ola and James is to expand their family, with the pair undergoing IVF treatment to welcome Ella into the world.

She adds: “You don’t think you’re going to have to go through IVF until it doesn’t happen for a long time and you go, ‘Right there’s a problem, we need to look into it’.
“We would love to have another, but you just don’t know what is going to happen.”
