Eamonn Holmes in shocking health update after being left unable to walk saying ‘I can’t do anything except watch TV’

EAMONN Holmes has issued a shocking health update where he admitted he was left unable to walk.
Last October, the TV presenter underwent an operation on his back after suffering from severe chronic pain.
However, only two weeks into his recovery he suffered a dramatic fall down the stairs at his mansion in Weybridge, Surrey, where his wife Ruth Langsford was forced to call for medical help.
Now Eamonn, 63, has given fans a health update on his breakfast news show.
Speaking to his guest Tim Franklin, the former Sky News Sunrise host remarked: "I can't run, I can't walk, I can't do anything except watch TV and eat.
"I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven't recovered from. It's not good, it's not a good recipe I have to say.
Turning to the panellist, he hinted that he struggles to build the energy to heal as he remarked: "You are a good motivation for all of us.
"What would you say to people out there who just have not got that motivation?"
Eamonn has been open about his personal health struggles in public as he was spotted in a wheelchair.
He was seen leaving Wembley Stadium after he watched his team Manchester United beat Newcastle 2-0 to lift the Carabao Cup.
He's also been photographed using a pair of crutches to help with his mobility on various occasions.
After months off-screen the former GMTV star made his return to TV in January, where he also admitted that he was struggling with staying indoors.
