Gemma Atkinson slams ‘narcissist, liar’ ex boyfriend who cheated on her and was exposed on Instagram

GEMMA Atkinson has opened out about her "cheating" ex - branding him a "narcissist" and a "liar".

The former Hollyoaks star - who is now married to Strictly pro Gorka Márquez - revealed that a woman messaged her on social media with proof that her partner had been unfaithful.

Gemma, 38, said the lad had been two-timing her and was caught after he updated his WhatsApp profile picture with a photo Gemma had originally shared to her Instagram grid.

The soap star said: "My ex was cheating on me and I found out on Instagram.

"A lovely lady DM'd me on Instagram when we were on holiday.

"I put a picture of a sunset on my grid and he stupidly put it as his WhatsApp profile picture and he told her he was in Florida with the lads and he was in the Bahamas.

"And we had no idea about each other.

"But she was so polite with me and I was so polite with her because ultimately we didn't do anything wrong."

She continued on The Over Share podcast: "We were both kind of swept off our feet at the time by someone who we thought was wonderful but it turned out that he was a narcissist and a liar and just a really crappy person."

Gemma relationship woes are long behind her now after finding love with Strictly star Gorka back in 2018.

Earlier this week, Gemma made a very honest sex confession about post-baby love life, saying she had not been given OK to be intimate again following her six-week "mummy MOT" last month.

She revealed that she was relieved when Gorka turned down the change to get intimate when he returned home from work.

Gemma said she felt tired and not in the mood, and was worried about her "new" body looking different.

The actress said: "He was away for three weeks up until last weekend, and I'd had my six week check by then, and she'd ok'ed me to be kind of be intimate again with him again and stuff.

"Part of me was thinking 'Oh my God, I can't be arsed, I'm so tired, I just want to have a bath'.

"But the other half was thinking 'It's been so long', because the last few months of pregnancy I was like 'Do not come near me'."
