LAURA Tobin caught the eye of Good Morning Britain viewers today as she presented the weather in a green faux leather mini skirt.

The meteorologist, 42, was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on a crisp autumn morning.

The TV star looked great and seasonal in a long-sleeved lime green top with a mini skirt.

One viewer commented: "Laura Tobin is looking stunning as always!!"

Others tagged the presenters name and shared gifs indicating they approved of her style choice.

Happy Laura tucked into a slice of sponge cake when the cameras weren't rolling, writing on social media that it was a great way to end the week.

But it was made bittersweet by the departure of the programme's long-serving cameraman Geoff, who said goodbye after 24 years as he sailed into retirement.

Laura paid tribute to him by sharing a picture from one of their many on location shoots which saw Greg holding her leg as she made a peace sign at the camera.

She finished her tribute by circling him with a love heart and writing: "You will be missed".

Earlier in the week Laura updated her followers on a weather system abroad, talking them through the devastation of Hurricane Otis in Mexico.

The Category 5 storm ravaged the popular tourist resort of Acapulco with 165mph winds.

It was branded a "nightmare scenario" and was far worse than any modelling had predicted.

Laura said: "What is scary is the sophisticated computer models had not predicted this. On Monday the National Hurricane Center (NHC) was predicting it would make landfall as a 70 mph tropical storm. Then on Tuesday they were forecasting a category 1 hurricane landfall, then it underwent rapid intensification and became a category 5 hurricane!"
