The Traitors series two return date confirmed by the BBC – and it’s sooner than you think

THE Traitors' return date has finally been confirmed - and fans don't have long to wait.
The smash-hit reality series is back for a second instalment after its debut last year.
Fans were left gripped by the Claudia Winkleman-fronted show that saw contestants 'murder' each other in the ultimate game of deception.
While viewers were left frustrated that series two didn't launch in November like they expected, it's return has finally been confirmed.
The Traitors will officially return on Wednesday, January 3rd from 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
In an exciting schedule shake-up fans will get to see episodes two and three on iPlayer immediately after.

The rest of the series will then broadcast on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
It's filmed at Ardross Castle in Scotland where 22 contestants from all walks of life take part come together to play the game.
But a small group are secretly selected by Claudia to be "traitors", after which the remaining "faithfuls" get eliminated by being "murdered" by those traitors.
Following on from the first series success, Beeb bosses have launched a companion podcast for the new run.
