During Monday's Instalment of the ITV quiz show Bradley tackled a tough question posed to one of the players, when he revealed that he lives with colourblindness.

The 63-year-old host welcomed contestant Liz, who stepped up to face Chaser Paul Sinha.

During Liz’s turn on The Chase she was asked about the value of each scrabble tile based on its colour.

At first appearance, Bradley seemed confused by the question, with Paul 'Sinnerman' Sinha explaining that each tile has a code which counts for a different score.

The show host was taken aback, admitting that he 'understood' the question but added: "Fans at home are probably thinking ‘What’s he talking about he must be really dim’, but no, it’s my colour blindness."

Fans of the show clearly were unaware of Bradley's health condition as they took to X(Twitter) to speak on the revelation.

One user said: “#thechase had no idea Bradley was colour blind!"

Another joked: "Colour-blindness? That came right out of the green!"

While a third chimed in:  "Must make it difficult to see when the answers are locked in then."

During the episode, Liz managed to bag £4,000 for the team, but unfortunately, each of her fellow contestants was ruthlessly sent home by Paul.

In the final Chase, the American, who studied her PHD in York, was left alone to face the Chaser.

Even though she impressed Bradley and the Sinnerman with a respectable score of ten, it wasn't enough, as Paul caught up with her with only one minute and a second left on the time.

Recently, ITV announced the exciting news that all of the beloved chasers will return on their spin-off Beat the Chasers.

Returning on the show with Paul is Mark ‘the Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘the Governess’ Hegerty, Shaun ‘the Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.

Bradley Walsh is set to host the upcoming series, which is scheduled to air "early 2024" on ITV1 and ITVX.
