LISA George hinted at her shock exit from Coronation Street three months ago - and now could be joining a hit BBC show.
The beloved soap actress will be bidding farewell to the Weatherfield cobbles next year.
The Sun exclusively revealed how the star, who has played Beth Tinker for 13 years, will depart next summer.
An insider told us how Lisa, 50, feels now "is the right time" to move on and take on new challenges.
It seems the writing was already on the wall for her exit, as Lisa hinted at her exit three months ago.
In an interview with the Daily Star, she revealed how bosses were yet to issue her with a new Corrie contract.

She admitted to the publication that she was "just waiting to hear if I get another contract".
With Lisa now looking ahead to potential new roles on television, she could be heading to the Beeb.
She has previously spoken about her interest in war and period shows, including Call the Midwife.
Lisa explained: "I’m really interested in the war stuff, because my grandad talked about the war all the time. So I’d love to do a 1940s drama. Or something set in the '60s would be amazing.

She also confessed that she would love to follow in her former co-star Michelle Keegan's footsteps by working on Ten Pound Poms.
Lisa added: "I watched Ten Pound Poms and loved it. A role in something like that would be amazing."
