Who is Sian Welby?
Sian was born on September 3, 1986, in Sheffield.
She got her big break at the age of 19 when she was spotted by former Channel 5 owner Richard Desmond in her starring role in an advert for New! Magazine.
in November 2010 Sian was unveiled as the new face of Channel 5 News.
She has since switched to radio, having had shows on Heart and Capital.
Sian is best known for being a host on the Capital FM Breakfast show alongside Roman Kemp.
She joined the show in 2020, replacing Vick Hope after she left the programme.

When did Sian Welby start hosting This Morning?
Before being announced as a new main presenter on the show, Sian has been a This Morning showbiz reporter since 2023.
She was a stand-in host on ITV's flagship daytime programme from January 22 to 26, 2024.
Sian has been picked to front the programme alongside Dermot as ITV bosses continue their 'live auditions' in order to find a replacement for Holly Willoughby.
Before her first show (on January 22, 2204) she teased there could be "carnage" as she prepared to take on TV's most coveted role.
In a video posted to Instagram, Sian looked nervous as she exclaimed: "I'm trying to be cool, calm and collected, but I'm hosting This Morning tomorrow!
"I can't believe this, I'm on the actual main show.
"I don't know who allowed this. Am I ready? Am I a liability?"
Sian went on: "I will be with Dermot on Monday on This Morning.
"Tune in if you want to see the carnage that could happen, because honestly, at this moment, I don't know what could happen.
"I'm just gonna wing it!"
Sian's previous job on This Morning as entertainment reporter saw her follow in the footsteps of Rylan Clark and Ferne McCann who previously hosted the showbiz section on the programme.
Whilst the format was rested for a few years, she was chosen to take on the role when it was brought back in 2023.
It seems that she has certainly impressed too after being picked to front the main show.
