THE Apprentice's Lord Alan Sugar has dealt a brutal snub to one of his most remembered former candidates by offering up the ultimate blow.
The business mogul, 76, is gearing up for the launch of the 18th series of the hit show on BBC One.
Accompanied by Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, he is on the hunt for the next entrepreneur worthy of his £250,000 investment.
However, there is one former star who he does not anticipate ever walking back into the boardroom and there is a rather brutal reason.
Amid rumours of a potential All Stars spin-off of the show, which Alan hinted could be around the corner for the show's 20th anniversary, one show runner-up did not come away with a rave review from Alan.
Speaking at the launch event for the show's new series, Alan admitted that he was unlikely to see Saira Khan, 53, back on the show as she was "too old".

Saira came second to the show's current advisor Tim when she took part in the very first series in 2005.
Speaking to The Sun and other press, Alan said: "The problem is, is that you might find that if you go back 18 years, Saira Khan lost to Tim.
"Now, dare I say, and she'll hate me for this, that she'll be a bit too old now."
Teasing potential plans for an All Stars spin-off, he insisted the final decision would lie with the BBC.

He also confessed that he hoped for a cameo appearance from a rather special figure - the King.
However, he went onto admit he could not see King Charles getting stuck in with any of the show's gruelling tasks.
Last week, The Sun revealed how show champion Dr. Leah Totton was hopeful an All Stars edition was in the works as she told us how she would not hesitate to sign up.
She said: "Sign me up!
"I think it would be very good and I would say yes.
"Now having had 10 years experience in business, I maybe wouldn't find it as challenging so that would be something that I think would be really fun and I'd absolutely sign up to it so count me in."
The Apprentice starts Thursday 1 February on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
